So please try to get EA to understand that they won't be harmed by selling their games DRM free. Pirates get them all easy and clean and free. EA games punish those who pay for their products.
Securom damaged my computer and I had to spend weeks backing up everything before sending it to get securom completely removed, and I had to throw away my DVD-burner (and it had been very very expensive too, apparently the same maker as Securom.) because it was shut down and would not work on any computer again, which meant I couldn't empty my digital camera either until I bought a new dvd-burner. I bought The Sims 2, expansion after expansion, but suddenly they sneaked in Securom, because as you know EA only likes pirates and hates those who legally pay for their products.
